Thinking of You

Wow, it’s been forever since I’ve been able to sit down to make a real post. But I have been so busy. Sadly, my stamping has taken the back seat. But hopefully all that will soon be in the past. Good things are in the works. I have found that October, November and December are the busiest times of the year for me. This year I was not able to "do" Halloween like we usually do. Everyone was disappointed but in the end it was OK. Instead I worked to raise money for our school’s drug program. It was very successful. So I was proud.
I think this has been the period in my life that you have to stop look around and reassess everything. That being done. The future looks good. I have so many things to talk about, I’m not sure where to start so I’ll just jump in.
In September a dear sweet girl I know from my son’s school lost her dad. It was so unexpected and heartbreaking for this young family. Times like this can make you feel so helpless.
Remember to tell your loved ones that you love them everyday.
I made this card for them hoping that it would say that I care. You would be surprised how it makes people feel when you take the time to make something just for them. I always say I’m going to make up cards ahead of time so I’ll be ready for any occasion but being the procrastinator that I am, I haven’t. But the up side of that is when I make my cards they are for a specific person and they know it.
The idea for this card came out of the Stampin’ Up! catalog page 171. The supply list is below.
Check back soon to see what I’ve been so excited about these days!
