Skater Card

Hello, everyone!
This card was CASE'd from the Stampin' Up! 09-10 Idea Book & Catalog. It is all Stampin' Up! except the orange die-cut background. The die-cut was something I got before I started buying only Stampin' Up! And as you know I can't throw anything out. I feel like I might as well just drive down the road, roll down the window and throw my money out if I throw something away that I bought and never used.
This idea was originally on a cork board but when I saw it, I thought it would make the perfect card.

Flower and Butterfly Card

Hello Everyone!
This card is a mix of really old, kind of old and new products. And its actually just a variation of the card I posted on Aug 27. The flower pattern was traced from an old Stampin' Up! On Board flower that I used in a workshop a few years back. I'm not sure but I may have as many scraps as I do new paper. As a matter a fact, looking at this card now, I think everything was a scrap except for the base.
Have a great day!

Money Holder Card

This money holder idea is from Stampin' Up! demonstrator Amy Celona. Not only is she a great demonstrator, she also hosts my blog. Woo Hoo!
The directions for this card are on her site http://ustamp4fun.com/great-grads-money-holder/
Thank you Amy for all that you do!

Fresh Cuts and Fleurettes II

This is another card made from recycled paper cut for long ago workshop. I ran some of the pieces through my Big Shot, turned them side, used a new stamp set (Fresh Cuts), added a flower embellishment from the Fleurettes II and wa la!
A new card.

Holiday Bundle Special
Carousel Card

I love these butterflies!
This card is a mix of old and new. The DSP and Carousel card are retired but the scallop trim punch and the Beautiful Wings die and Many Thanks die are available in the current Stampin' Up! catalog. And as I was afraid, I cannot remember where I got the inspiration for this card. I am almost 99.9% sure it was from a Stampin' Up! catalog. As soon as I remember, I'll update.

Old + New = Better !!!!

Hello! Everyone.
I hope all is going wonderfully during this ever so busy time of the year. I know I've been busy, busy. Volunteering at the school, Fall Fest, sick kids, Cub Scouts, sewer work, kids selling cookies, kids selling popcorn, it just goes on and on. Uh, yes, I said sewer work. I helped with the surveying and laying some of the pipe. But it's not done yet so there is no telling what else I'll be doing! Yikes! So I've been contemplating how to get caught up and back into the swing of things here on my blog. I have lots of cards to show you but as things move so quickly in the Stampin' Up! world some have become "outdated".
But as you know I'm not afraid of outdated. The problem comes in when you the reader doesn't know that it's retired and wants to get it. So after worrying about that for awhile, I have just decided to post all of them anyway. Many of the cards I make can be done in lots of different colors and styles. And since a lot of the cards are from the Stampin' Up! catalogs and CASE'd from different places it would be great to change them up a little anyway to make it your own!
Sooooooo, I am going to start posting the cards. I will always include the information about where I got the idea. Hopefully I haven't waited so long that I have forgotten.
After I get caught back up I will start putting the card recipes back in. But if you have ANY questions send me a note and I'll get you the info you need.
So about the card in this post. I used one of our retired card kits to make this card. The instructions come with the card kit. I've made this exact card before but this time I stepped it up by using one of Stampin' Up!'s new punches. Sometimes the little things make a big difference.
By the way, please forgive the lighting problems in the upcoming pictures. I've been having…uh…let's just say issues.
Check back soon…really…I mean it this time.

P.S. My workshop looks the same as it did last month.
It had to get in line behind that silly sewer line. And you know, that's one of the reasons I love Stampin' Up! so much. It's always there for you. It's ready when you are and it fits into your life just the way you need it to!
