Happy Easter!

I hope your Easter is blessed!
John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
Easter Hats
OK, I know I am a bad blogger, but man, oh, man have I been busy. And sadly enough it has not been on cards or scrapbooks.
I don’t know what’s going on but normally when Spring rolls around, I’m able to get things rolling but not this year. I just can’t beat the blahs. Maybe it’s because I just had another birthday or maybe it’s because my son had toe surgery this week or maybe it’s…..whatever….all this sounds like a bunch of whining and complaining to me.
I’m beginning to think I have ADHD. Bouncing from here to there. So since, I think I might have ADHD, I’ll just move on to a new topic without finishing the first one….
Here’s one of the Easter hats I made. It’s actually the first one I made and it just happened to belong to my sweet boy.

He was trying to make sure I was taking the picture.

And this is a picture of his friend’s Easter hat. Her mom made her’s, too.

We made so many hats and I have so many pictures but I was having camera difficulties on the day of the parade. So some of my pictures were taken with my cell phone and some of the pictures were bad and some of the ones that came out really good have beautiful little faces under them and I do not have permission to use them so I will have to just use these. Anyway, you get the idea. We had to make about 350 of these beautiful creations. Now, I did not do this by myself, of course. Lots of moms and I think some teachers worked on this project along with each child. I met some really beautiful and interesting little souls working on these hats. Some of them can really make you laugh.
Well, this is where I would jump to another topic if I had ADHD but I haven’t completely convinced myself that’s what I really have so I’ll just stop here for now. What I have been told is you get the same type of symptons when you get old. But I’m not quite convinced of that either. I’ll let you know if I come to any conclusions.

World Autism Awareness Day
At my house every day is Autism Awareness Day, but April 2nd has been declared World Autism Awareness Day by the United Nations. If you have a minute, check out the WAAD site here and here.
I know everyone thinks I have fallen from the face of the Earth but I have not. I have been so very busy. For the last two weeks I have been at the Kindergarten Center helping the children make Easter hats for their Easter Parade. I have glued more grass, eggs and whatever else these precious children brought to put on their hats than you could imagine. The hats are sooooo cute. And each child is so very, very proud of their hat. Hopefully, after the parade tomorrow, I’ll have some pictures!
And yes, yes, yes, I have procrastinated.
I have birthday cards, thank you cards and taxes to do. It is a very sad situation. But I will persevere. I am going to get caught up and it will be soon. I promise. I have to. I will. You’ll see. OK, I know that’s a little dramatic but I have been feeling a little dramatic lately.
So, please come back soon. Don’t forget about me. I have a half finished birthday card and thank you card on my table that will be finished and posted soon.
Thank you so much to those that keep checking on me!
