A Little Bit of Happiness
Here in Texas some of the seasons aren’t as defined as in other places in the country but we still have them. And I like all of the different seasons of the year. But I think I’m ready for spring. Even if it includes spring cleaning. So as I was cleaning out some files I found this card and thought it was "springy". It was the prototype of a card I made for a workshop make & take.
I cannot remember who the idea came from but I know the color combination and card idea came from a blog I was looking at late one night a long time ago. I do remember she used glitter on her cards. So if by chance you know who. I will be gladly give credit.

I used my Stampin’ Write markers to color the images. I’m normally afraid of coloring directly on the paper with my markers. It’s just so, so, so….I don’t know. But I don’t do it. But it seemed to be the thing to do on this card and I really liked how it turned out.
So I would like to wish you a little bit of happiness today!
Thanks for stopping by!

Tie The Knot
Yesterday a friend called and asked if I could help her. She wanted to borrow a few things to make a card. She needed a stamp set and some pieces that she could put together in a hurry because she had to work. So I said sure and started to gather some things for her to come get. Then I thought well since I have this stuff out, I’ll see if I can come up with an idea for her. So as I was looking for an idea, I came across this card on Mary Fish’s blog. I check her blog most everyday. She has beautiful cards. Then I thought well why don’t I just go ahead and make a card for my friend since I’m already here. So I CASE’d Mary’s card.
Thank you, Mary.

I used the retired Simply Scrappin’ Kit Tie the Knot to make this card. You know me. I’m all about retired. OK, I’m all about procrastinating. Well now, you do have to give me credit for doing better. I have been trying really hard and I think it is paying off.
I hope you like the card. It was really easy to make and I think it turned out very elegant. If you have any questions about the card send me a note and I’ll be glad to help!
